The scariest thing in the world to me used to be spiders. I had nightmares and often didn't sleep very well if I even thought the tiniest of spiders was in my room at night. As I grew older I learned more about spiders and faced my fears and so now I do not freeze with fear every time I see one. However if I was to ever come across this spider family as seen in this picture as fascinating as it is to see I think all my child hood fears would resurface. But I remind myself I can face my fears no matter what it may be. So just this little blog to share this amazing photo on PostWorthy as a reminder that facing our fears is a valuable thing in our lives to keep us moving along our path in life.

The Day After
Obama wins and all the hard work of both candidates comes to a close. All was quiet today in my town, remnants of elections signs still about, but everyone back to work and their lives. Now wondering how our new president elect will take hold of his new office and how long before we can see some changes. We are anxious for him to do well to give us our great country back. His messages of hope and optimism is a special gift and will be what is needed to head our country back in the right direction and keep us on track. For it will be a long and hard road for our new president and no matter who you voted for, now is the time to get behind our leader and give him our support to join him in hope and a positive outlook for our future. We are America and through tough times we succeed and we can do it again. Even McCain had the most uplifting and positive concession speech and he with a positive outlook encouraged everyone to come together and get behind our new president and to be hopeful and positive in working towards the right direction to keep American strong and as Great as ever. YES WE CAN! Here is to the work ahead in a unified and hopeful strong America. YES WE CAN!

New Inventions For Women

I seen it on the Today Show today. Three women with three really neat products they invented. The first one was the backless bra made by Maidenform. It is not on the market yet but you can pre order one by going to their website. The woman that designed the new backless bra Elaine Cato, from Nashville was wearing one and demonstrated a wide range of movement with out the worry of the straps slipping. Just by the look of it you wonder how it will stay up but she had me convinced. Also not a bad price around 32.00.
The Second invention I seen on the Today Show this morning was the Camileon Heels. These were

Here is a video demonstration if you would like to take a look:
The third invention was a holder for a blow dryer to keep your hands free when blow drying your hair. Not as fancy but very practical since a blow dryer can get heavy when blow drying your hair and it would give you more control when styling your hair. It suction cup base attaches to a mirror or stainless steel surface. Might be a problem for small bathrooms to have the holder looming around but if you have the space seems like a great idea. The name of the holder was called the Blo and Go.
Check out their website.
